Kathryn Oard was raised in Pittsburg, Kansas. She began work at her father’s pharmacy when she was 15 years old. She attended Pittsburg State University for 2 years and then went on to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Oklahoma in 2009. She began work at Scheffe’s Prescription Shop in Enid upon graduation and has worked as a pharmacist there for 15 years. She has been a member of community volunteer organizations such as the Junior Welfare League of Enid and Leadership Greater Enid Class 30. She is also currently a district representative on the OPhA executive council. She currently resides in Enid with her husband Dewey, an electrical engineer, and her two children, ages 8 and 4. She has a passion for community pharmacy and loves serving her local community.
