David graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy (OUCOP) with a PharmD in 2011 and a Ph.D. in Social and Administrative Sciences in 2016. He is the co-owner of six independent community pharmacies; three in Oklahoma, one in Washington, one in Iowa, and one in Texas. David has also served in the past as a clinical assistant professor at the OUCOP through teaching, and research, and as one of the mentors of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) local and national business plan competitions. David’s passion for pharmacy is reflected in his practice and research interests: pharmacy quality, value-added services, and leadership. David believes that thru collaboration, pharmacists can be innovative to keep the practice moving forward.

David currently represents Oklahoma’s RxSelect Clinical Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network (CPESN) at the national level as a CPESN USA Board Member. He has also served as the Vice-President and President of the Oklahoma Pharmacists Association Oklahoma City District. He is also actively involved in the American Pharmacists Association and NCPA by providing various presentations and networking for the advancement of the profession. David and his wife, Liz, have two boys, Gavin and Emory, who are continually providing them with a source of laughter and love. He is grateful to have the support of his family and friends for encouragement and inspiration.
